Chantelle Phiri is a Malawian-South African-based actress.
She has experience in stage, television, film and international commercials.
She was born in 1991 in Malawi, where she grew up and obtained her education.
Her career breakthrough as an actress came when she co-led in the Oscar nominated 2017 Malawian movie, The Road to sunrise.
The movie also won Best Narrative Feature at the Silicon Valley Awards in the USA and Best Movie Southern Africa at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards in 2018.
She has since starred in a television series and commercials back in Malawi, just as she has modelled for print adverts, calendars and other promotional materials.
